Riviera Maya

YUCATAN. This is the “land of the pheasant and the deer”, where the sun is our father and the jungle is our mother. This is a paradise waiting to be explored.

Amarte is ideally situated in the heart of the Riviera Maya, on the Caribbean coast of Mexico´s Yucatan Peninsula. This is a paradise waiting to be explored, from the depths of the turquoise ocean to the ancient stones of the Mayan ruins, from the abundant flora and fauna of the rainforest jungle to the colonial charms of the inland cities founded by the Spanish.

Sporting and cultural activities abound. Within a 15-mile radius from Amarte are four super 18-hole golf courses, world-class diving, sport fishing, horseback riding, jungle tours, ecological and adventure parks. The famous Mayan ruins of Tulum and Coba, and the Si’an Ka’an Biosphere Reserve are only an hour away, Chichen Itza and the colonial city of Valladolid are an easy day trip.

Amarte Maroma is strategically located 30 miles south of Cancun, 7 miles from the fishing village Puerto Morelos, 7 miles north of the fun and funky beach town Playa del Carmen, and 10 miles from Cozumel Island.
